Lahore (Tuesday, September 3, 2013) – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is re-counting of votes in PP-150. It was started on Monday, Sept 2, 213 in the presence of polling agents and candidates of PMLN and PTI.

Re-Counting Completes in 8 Polling Stations:-

PML-N is leading by 100 votes.

Re-counting will continue on September 3 & 4 in Lahore.

Talking to media, PTI’s candidate Mehr Wajid said that his rival PML-N candidate was leading by a margin of 100 votes after recounting of votes of eight polling stations. However, Wajid said that he had challenged some votes after it was found that they were not stamped and signed by the polling staff. The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has tasked returning officer concerned with the recounting of votes in PP-150 after rigging allegation.
